As a System Support Analyst and Administrator, the primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation and support of an organization's IT systems.
This involves providing both first and second-level support, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with vendors to resolve system errors. Key responsibilities include:
User Support and Troubleshooting: Offer technical assistance via phone and email, diagnosing and resolving user issues promptly.
System Maintenance and Configuration: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of systems, including data imports and extracts.
Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and contribute to the creation of a knowledge base to reduce support calls.
Testing and Implementation: Conduct acceptance testing for new or updated software applications and support the implementation of new functionalities or modules.
Communication and Reporting: Manage communication with end-users regarding system downtimes, enhancements, and annual tasks; provide reports on project statuses.
Process Improvement: Lead change management initiatives and process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
