Overview
This is a strategic role, which requires an ambitious sales leader and professional to succeed. The successful candidate will accelerate the growth of our Irish business, creating and delivering sales strategies that will play a crucial role now and in to the future. They will play a critical part in the development and implementation of the Companies strategy in Ireland.
Key Tasks:
Strategically expand and grow the business improving our overall competitive position in the market.
Develop a strong effective sales strategy focused on revenue growth, profitability, relationship management & business development across Ireland
Direct sales forecasting activities, including regular outlooks, account and business reviews
Prepare applications for underwriting, including reviewing financials, understanding financial ratios, identifying risk, and implementing mitigating actions.
Accountable for sales performance, lead small sales team ensuring they have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. Introduce, review and improve internal sales processes.
Present sales performance figures and strategies to the VP and up to group board members, when required.
Monitor all tasks to ensure the highest levels of diligence.
Act as a trusted advisor to both local and group senior and board leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives.
Ensure the company culture is embedded across the Irish team,
Recruit for the Sales Team, and other roles when required.
Ensures the required internal control standards in the team, including adherence to audit, regulatory and compliance policies
Experience and Skills:
Proven record of accomplishment as a leader and in a successful sales career ideally in Invoice Finance or Commercial Finance.
Professionalism and ability to manage and motivate team to reach full potential.
The capability to build a pipeline; effectively forecast and meet quarterly target assignments and coach others to do likewise.
Proven success in a sales management role, with experience of leading substantial sales growth.
Strong, proven experience of creating sales strategies and plans to implement them.
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex products.
