Cpl Marketing is partnering with an innovative technology company in search of a talented and driven Events & Marketing Executive. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for delivering impactful events and marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and business growth.
You’ll play a key role in the marketing team, managing a calendar of virtual and in-person events—from industry trade shows and webinars to customer meetups.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to shape and deliver an events strategy aligned with business and brand objectives. Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build meaningful connections with target audiences.
End-to-End Event Management
- Lead the full life-cycle of event planning—from concept and logistics to execution and post-event analysis. Events include conferences, trade shows, webinars, and exclusive customer gatherings.
Promotions & Campaigns
- Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop effective promotional materials. Drive attendance and engagement through multi-channel promotion including email, social media, and the company website.
Logistics & Operations
- Manage logistics such as timelines, vendor coordination, venue setup, registrations, technology support, and on-site event execution.
Engagement & Networking
- Implement strategies to maximise attendee engagement before, during, and after each event. Build relationships with key industry contacts, clients, and potential partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of event strategies with wider business goals. Ensure consistent communication and post-event follow-up.
Content & Creative
- Support the creation of event assets, including presentations, handouts, swag, and digital content. Ensure all materials are on-brand and effectively support event goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in event marketing or coordination, ideally in a B2B or tech environment
- Demonstrated success in delivering both in-person and virtual events
- Proficiency with event and marketing platforms—experience with HubSpot is a strong advantage
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with tools such as event management software, webinar platforms, and CRM systems
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to travel for in-person events as required
- Budget management experience is a plus
