Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with customer site contacts to craft and implement solutions tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Installing and configuring Emerson Syncade MES systems.
- Designing intuitive reports and integrating systems with both Automation and ERP platforms.
- Setting up servers and configuring data systems from the ground up.
- Establishing and maintaining connections with third-party data sources.
- Providing troubleshooting and support for MES-related issues.
- Developing software components and unique configurations to meet specific project requirements.
- Conducting on-site customer visits to support startup, training, and solution deployment activities.
- Delivering data systems projects on time and within budget.
- Ensuring successful completion of each project through teamwork, communication, and initiative.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MES systems engineering.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and network configurations.
- Experience with MES platforms such as Emerson Syncade or equivalent systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, VBScript, XML, and XSL.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Willingness to travel for on-site customer support and project implementation.
