The organisation was created over 10 years ago specialising in financial consulting to support Central Government departments improve the accuracy and efficiency of their accounts and processes. Since then, we have developed our service offerings significantly, where we are now trusted strategic delivery, and transformation partners for clients across Central Government, Healthcare, Education, Non-for Profit, and many Private Sector organisations. Our key services include Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT), Change and Transformation, Financial Consulting and Corporate Advisory.
The Requirement
As a result of our growing portfolio of clients and services, we are expanding our internal Delivery Function, which provides critical governance, assurance, and delivery oversight to the services we deliver to our clients. We are recruiting for a PMO Delivery Consultant to join our existing internal delivery team, who will work with the Function’s Service Delivery & Engagement Managers (SDEM) to ensure internal and external governance, and support the successful delivery of work packages and services across multiple client accounts.
The successful individual will need to be a motivated self-starter, who has successfully worked in project delivery environments. The candidate must be proactive and able to work as part of a free flowing collaborative team. They will need to be comfortable with engaging regularly with client stakeholders, and a variety of skilled Veracity associates. We are currently a small team, where we are looking to grown significantly over the next few years, therefore it would be ideal for the candidate to understand these types of environments, and contribute to this growth journey.
The PMO Delivery Consultant will need to have strong knowledge and experience of working within client-facing roles where they have delivered governance, reporting, and general project support duties, supporting project delivery and service management activities etc. They will need to demonstrate strong experience in delivering and adhering to process, continuous improvement, and prioritisation of activities. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a fast paced and flexible environment, where attention to detail is paramount. They will need to have exceptional planning and time management skills to support the delivery function and SDEMs, contributing to delivery oversight, resource management, incident management and resolution, reporting, milestone tracking etc. Additionally, we would expect them to work with the Function Director, the Director of Consulting Services, DDaT to drive service maturity and efficiencies across new and existing services, both internal and external.
The PMO Delivery Support will work in a collaborative Delivery Function, with support from the wider organisation. The Function operates as a multi-disciplinary delivery focused group, working across several clients and disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the successful delivery of services/outcomes, coordinating across a portfolio of public sector client services and Statement of Works (SOWs) within DDaT, Change and Transformation and Project/Programme Management services.
• Working in partnership with the SDEMs to support the management and direction of those services, Veracity Associates, and agreed outcomes to be delivered.
• Ensuring appropriate documentation and CRM platforms are updated regularly with contractual information, commercials, and associate details. (implementation of a CRM is required)
• Support the SDEMs and Director in the creation of SOWs for new and continuing services, in collaboration with the end client and Veracity associates, as appropriate.
• Support the creation and presentation of dashboards, MI and Supplier Review meetings with client stakeholders (project and commercial).
• Support the SDEMs in milestone tracking, project coordination, progress monitoring and risk management via RAID in alignment with the SOWs
• Responsible for timesheets approval, accuracy and reporting, including invoices/billing schedules are correct, and contract spend/PO burn rate is monitored proactively, in alignment with Finance.
• Supporting the recruitment process for Veracity: collaborating with our recruitment partners and SME delivery resource to coordinate interviews and workshops.
• Working with the SDEM and onboarding team on joiners, leavers, and movers (JLM), for new and existing services.
• Supporting workshops, proposals, and bid activities where appropriate.
• Operate in a customer-centric, no blame culture, to ensure we deliver services as a Trusted Partner.
Experience Required:
• Previous experience in a Project Support or PMO of Governance role, preferably in the DDaT or transformation domain.
• Strong coordination and project delivery experience with an understanding or awareness of project management methodologies e.g. Agile, Prince 2, Waterfall etc.
• Strong financial management experience i.e. budget tracking and forecasting
• Experience supporting the delivery or projects/Programmes and work packages.
• Undertaking of Risk Management, and experience maintaining RAID logs:
o Development, ownership, and maintenance of RAID logs including updating & review sessions, developing mitigations.
o Assessing and amending the RAID.
o Understands risks and able to assess what is a well-documented risk.
• Strong meeting management experience:
o Action tracking and follow up
o Demonstrates confidence in keeping meeting on track.
o Prepared to support and facilitate meetings and workshops, as appropriate.
• Strong reporting and stakeholder engagement experience:
o Support the production of reports, monthly client dashboards.
o Dashboard Reporting (regular meetings with associates to update project status).
o Amend and assess RAG status as appropriate.
• Working with SDEMs and lead associates to support POAP creation and maintenance.
• Confident with senior stakeholders and management
• Experience of MS office suite products
• Ability to work on own initiatives with minimal management supervision, who is prepared to ‘roll sleeves up’, and is a Self worker who can set own timescales
• Excellent customer facing/customer service skills.

Working situation:
Hybrid – we operate a hybrid working structure within Veracity, but there is a need to be either in our London HQ office or on client site, between 2-3 days per week. This is flexible and will adapt based on the project demands.
