Public Procurement - Business Partner
Full-time | Permanent | Remote (ROI-based) | 35 hours per week
An established national charity is currently recruiting for a Procurement Business Partner –. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Procurement team contributing to the financial sustainability and strategic success of the organisation.
In this key role, you will focus on contract and supplier management, supporting the Procurement Manager in delivering an efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Maintain and oversee the organisation’s Contract Register.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
Supplier Management
- Assist in establishing and implementing a Supplier Performance Review Framework.
- Conduct performance reviews, risk assessments, and spend analysis with key suppliers.
Procurement Operations
- Support tendering processes, from document preparation to evaluation.
- Collaborate with departments to meet sourcing needs in line with public procurement regulations.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a business partner to internal departments, offering procurement advice.
- Build relationships to understand departmental needs and support procurement planning.
- Promote procurement policy compliance and best practices.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure activities adhere to internal policies and public procurement standards.
Requirements:
Essential
- Experience managing high-value contracts across a range of goods, services, and works.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and procurement techniques.
- A minimum Level 8 qualification in a relevant field.
Desirable
- Qualification in Public Procurement.
- Experience using eTenders and working with OGP frameworks.
- Experience in public or not-for-profit sectors is advantageous.
