Role Summary
This is a senior management role which will focus on the management and development of 4 nursing homes and all of its processes which ultimately affect resident care. This will involve working with each home in order to ensure that the care provided is in line with national standards whilst ensuring that it is also efficient and productive. It will promote an environment for staff to excel and for residents to live safely and with a good quality of life
Requirements of the Role:
· Be registered on the live register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland)
· Have at least 10 years post registration experience of nursing.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior management positions in residential care for older people
· Hold a relevant post graduate award at level 9 (Masters Degree) in relevant subject areas.
· Specialist knowledge in Gerontology
· Knowledge of and experience of the specialists areas of complaints management, financial management, compliance and regulations.
· Knowledge of a range of management techniques to enthuse and engage the teams
· Advanced and specialist IT knowledge
