Our client, a well-established leader in the medtech sector, is looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to lead commercial success across the Repulic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In this exciting role, you’ll manage and grow existing customer accounts, sell a portfolio of technical AI based medical products, and identify new business opportunities within the territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, while targeting adjacent sectors to expand the customer base.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell products or services across the territory.
- Business Development: Develop and execute territory plans with accurate sales forecasting and clearly defined steps to achieve or exceed targets.
- Territory Management: Effectively manage and prioritise accounts throughout NI and ROI.
- Networking: Build a strong network of contacts and relationships to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to share insights, strategies, and updates on potential opportunities.
- Travel: Regularly travel across NI and ROI to meet clients and prospects, with occasional trips to the UK for central meetings. Represent the brand at regional and national meetings, workshops, industry events, and trade shows to identify market trends and generate leads.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ambitious and dynamic, with a natural focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proven track record in sales or account management, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience or knowledge of healthcare technology or healthcare software related to track and trace, decontamination, sterile services, endoscopy, or theatres is highly desirable.
- Skilled in territory mapping and strategic planning, with the ability to analyse market data, identify growth opportunities, and optimise resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships at all organisational levels.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven, with excellent time management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales tools, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the territory; full, clean driving licence required.
