About the Role
Location: Fully onsite, based in Dublin 2
This is a dynamic coordination role within the Simulation and Patient Safety teams, ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for high-quality training and healthcare standards.
You’ll support the delivery of simulation programmes for anesthesiology trainees, coordinate key patient safety initiatives, and help manage events and educational activities across the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the CAST Simulation Programme and assist the Simulation Director and Centre Manager.
- Support the Patient Safety Programme and its Director.
- Organise and manage a high-profile annual national conference focused on patient safety in anaesthesiology.
- Collaborate with College departments to support trainee education requirements.
- Provide admin support for relevant committees (e.g. Safe Anaesthesia Network Ireland, Quality & Safety Advisory Committee).
- Promote simulation courses through email, flyers, and the College website, and ensure full attendance.
- Handle logistics for events, including room bookings, catering, and accommodation.
- Offer IT and reception support on the day of courses.
- Communicate professionally with trainees, doctors, and internal teams.
About You
- Very strong experience in administration and event coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms)
- Confident liaising with senior professionals and managing multiple priorities
- Well-organised, detail-focused, and adaptable in a busy environment
- Experience in medical or academic settings is a strong advantage
