Senior Associate / Manager – Entrepreneurial & Private
Our client is seeking Senior Associates & Managers to their Entrepreneurial & Private team on a permanent basis. Our client is a Big 4 company based in the Southeast of Ireland, with offices across Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny. The Entrepreneurial & Private team provides a wide range of financial and commercial advisory services to a diverse portfolio of private SMEs, family businesses and individuals, working collaboratively with other service lines such as tax, advisory and wealth planning to deliver full suite, value addition solutions to their clients.
Responsibilities:
· Building trusted relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their unique needs, identifying tailored solutions to their issues.
· Taking ownership, from project commencement to conclusion, for the management, day-to-day progression and delivery of a variety of client assignment types such as those outlined in the Overview.
· Manage and direct a team of junior associates, maintaining responsibility for appropriate delegation, coaching / mentoring and professional development of junior colleagues.
· Drafting, preparing and reviewing high quality deliverables (reports and presentations) tailored to our clients’ requirements, which may include (depending on the nature of the project) information memorandums and teaser documents, commercial term sheets, valuation reports, bank and other finance proposals, financial models and business plans.
· Act as the primary point of contact for client engagement, with a focus on managing and strengthening client relations. Interact with other key stakeholders as necessary depending on the nature of the assignment (e.g., legal / tax advisers, bankers, investors, counterparties to transactions).
· Leading out on identifying and researching potential targets / investors / finance providers for M&A transactions and fundraising projects, including profiling activities.
· Preparing and coordinating pitch presentations to obtain new mandates and projects.
· Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of the market for financial advisory services and demonstrating a genuine eagerness for business development opportunities. Keep abreast of new developments in the business, the industry and the general environment relevant to the position.
· Ensuring project compliance within company quality standards and risk management process and procedures.
· Coaching and management of junior colleagues, providing timely feedback (formal and
· informal) to support their professional development.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant financial, accounting or commercially orientated role.
· An accounting business or finance related qualification (e.g., qualified accountant, QFA or similar) is preferred but not essential.
· Ability to work collaboratively amongst a dynamic team in a challenging environment, across multiple client projects / industries.
· Excellent project management, project execution and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, prospective clients and other key stakeholders, both orally and in writing. Strong report writing and presentation development skills, with advanced IT proficiencies
