Global financial services company based in Dublin is looking for a Senior Node Developer to join their team. This is a long-term rolling contract which requires you to be onsite one week per month.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
- You must have least 4 years development experience with some cloud, Server side or UI experience.
- Will be a more back end focused role, will need to be strong in Node.js and AWS, some Angular on UI side will be good to have as well.
- You must have developed in cloud-native application - AWS, Node.js
- You must have some experience with web frontend development – HTML5, CSS3, Angular
- You should have some experience with cloud deployment & maintaining CI/CD pipelines – CFTs, Serverless Framework/SAM, Jenkins
- You should have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- You should be extremely motivated and self-directed & enthusiastic to learn new technologies as required.

- Write high quality code and automated end to end and unit tests.
- Review pull requests (code reviews) of developers and test engineers and give constructive feedback.
- Work with team to clearly define and understand requirements.
- Contribute to project schedule on tasks and balances work accordingly to meet timelines.
- Participate in formal reviews of application designs, business, and functional requirements.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills, be motivated, be results oriented, customer-focused, and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions.
- Ability to raise technical and functional issues in an effective manner and efficiently resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the customer.
- Follow Agile and TDD for process, architecture, design, code, and testing.
