Project Town Planner to join my clients Planning team, contributing to the growth of their planning service while collaborating closely with other professionals across the company.
This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years; experience and offers an exposure to a wide variety of planning-related activities, including the preparation of planning applications, preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), planning appeals, feasibility assessments, and research. Responsibilities
- Supporting the co-ordination and delivery of projects, including the preparation and submission of planning applications, planning appeals, and reviews of submissions relating to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants t delivery high-quality outcomes.
- Interpreting and evaluating planning policy, providing informed recommendations to colleagues.
Skills / Qualifications
Am I the right person for the role?
- Hold a recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited)
- At least two years of relevant professional experience within Ireland
- Solid understanding of the Irish planning system and key environmental considerations
- Demonstrated experience in offering planning-related advice
- Knowledge in planning, development and environmental issues
- Proficient in drafting reports and making well-rounded recommendations
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and multidisciplinary design teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
