About the Team
The Investments Operations team supports all middle-office activities, including trade support, settlements, reconciliations, compliance, and reporting. This team works closely with investments, treasury, and finance teams to ensure accurate portfolio management and is focused on streamlining operations through automation and process improvements.
About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Investment Operations, the AVP, Trade Support Manager will lead the delivery of day-to-day trade support activities. This role involves managing trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliations, corporate actions, security data management, and overseeing an outsourcing partner. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth trade execution, onboarding new portfolios, and improving operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee middle-office outsourcing partner, ensuring high-quality service
- Manage trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
- Maintain security master data and ensure data quality across systems
- Handle corporate action processing and portfolio impact
- Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, vendors, and systems
- Assist with onboarding of new portfolios and internal reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams (compliance, data, performance)
- Identify and drive process improvements and scalability initiatives
- Document procedures clearly to support operational efficiency
- Engage proactively with the trading team and communicate key updates
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years’ experience in investment operations or middle office (preferably in asset management)
- Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin and Bloomberg
- Strong knowledge of investments, fixed income markets, and fund accounting
- Experience managing third-party vendors and outsourcing providers
- Excellent analytical, data management, and risk management skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel and general comfort with new technologies
- Ability to thrive independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Adaptable, solution-focused, and a strong team player
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
