Last night, Thursday 15th February, Cpl teamed up with Dress for Success Cork, to host a clothing drive in aid of women looking to re-enter the workforce.

Some women find themselves, for a variety of reasons, lacking the confidence to use mainstream support services to enter the workforce. This is where Cork-based charity, Dress for Success steps in. Dress for Success is a not for profit organisation that empowers women to shape their own future by providing services such as; CV review and advice, mock interview training and styling and make-up advice.

Speaking at the event, Cpl Director Lisa Broderick, commented on the well-suited partnership highlighting, ''the DFS Cork ethos is well matched with Cpl's core values of empowerment, respect and a strong emphasis on customer focus. Our teams in Cork and Waterford are excited to be in partnership with DFS Cork and we are looking forward to working with them throughout 2018'

The evening which took place in our Cork office, included an address from the CEO of Dress for Success, Carmel O'Keeffe along with a client of DFS who spoke about her experience using the charity to build back her confidence after she lost everything.

A stylist from Dress for Success then gave her expert advice on dressing for your shape and how to have confidence in what you wear. Guests on the night also got to hear from a fitness instructor who spoke about the importance of wellness and fitness and how little by little you can better yourself.

Over 20 people dropped by to make clothing donations which will enable Dress for Success to support women returning to the workplace.
