ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Galway
Our client, one of Irelands top Insurance Brokers, is seeking to hire a talented Account Executive to join a dynamic team setting working on personal accounts
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients, driving retention, renewal conversion, and portfolio growth.
- Execute renewals, mid-term alterations, and policy amendments with accuracy and commercial awareness.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across all product lines to maximise account value.
- Negotiate effectively with insurers to secure optimal terms and outcomes for clients.
- Maintain full and accurate documentation across all systems, ensuring audit-ready file management.
- Liaise with claims teams and underwriters to support efficient resolution and service delivery.
- Achieve agreed revenue, activity, and retention targets in line with compliance standards.
- Respond to client and internal queries promptly, maintaining high service standards.
- Support accounts processing and ensure financial records are accurately maintained.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver consistent client experience and shared performance goals.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance obligations are adhered to at every stage of the client lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- APA qualification (required).
- Strong knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and market practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage renewals and drive client retention performance.
- Commercially astute with proven negotiation capability.
- Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
- Familiarity with Relay system desirable.
- High attention to detail with strong documentation discipline.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Solutions-oriented approach to client and operational challenges.
