Our client, a well-established manufacturing and service company, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice entry, supplier reconciliations, and processing of processing of payments.
- Assist in month-end procedures and in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Prepare supplier account reports and payment runs.
- Process weekly bank reconciliations and prepare journals as required.
- Submit Revenue returns via the ROS system.
- Support weekly payroll processing.
Requirements:
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with ROS, VAT, and payroll processes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
