My client based just outside the city is hiring an Accounts Assistant. This is a part time role offering 22-25 hours, which can be broken down into 5 mornings, or 3 full days.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly invoicing and monitoring project costs and performance
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative database records
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- General administration, document control, and ad-hoc duties
- Assist with payroll when required
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve finance-related queries
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar all-round finance role, ideally within construction or project-based environments.
- Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations, VAT, and month-end processes.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Confident communicator, able to work directly with senior management
