Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full-Time contract for 3 months.
Role Summary:
Provide second-level support for specific ICT services, with first-level support as needed.
Deliver ICT services, equipment, and facilities to users.
Fulfil assigned service requests or escalate appropriately for resolution.
Offer subject matter expertise in designated service areas and technologies.
Identify, log, verify, and resolve service-related incidents.
Work collaboratively with fellow technicians to ensure timely incident resolution and service request fulfilment in line with agreed service levels.
Advise users on optimal use of available technologies and services, promoting compliance with institutional ICT policies and Codes of Practice.
Participate in and lead testing efforts for service updates, changes, and enhancements.
Contribute to project development activities by completing assigned tasks as part of a project team.
Standardise frequently performed tasks by documenting them as formal procedures.
Role Requirements:
A minimum of three years' experience in the delivery and support of IT services.
Proven ability and commitment to develop, maintain, and follow service documentation and standard support procedures.
Demonstrated capability to work independently, with effective planning, prioritisation, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills Required:
A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Strong understanding of core academic and enterprise ICT services and systems within the educational institution.
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and users, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
A proven track record of delivering IT services within a structured environment, including experience with operational support, monitoring tools, and established processes.
Experience using and supporting a Web Content Management System (CMS).
