Our Client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary Full Time Contract until 30th of April 2026.

Guided by national access initiatives and a progressive institutional strategy, the university aims to create an inclusive learning environment that reflects the diversity of the wider community. This role will play an important part in providing tailored student support, coordinating resources, and preparing students for professional placements, helping them transition successfully from university into the workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert guidance and support to prospective and current students identified as underrepresented in higher education, supporting their access, retention, and success
- Manage a caseload of students, coordinating and monitoring the delivery of appropriate supports and accommodations in collaboration with academic and administrative departments
- Build and maintain referral pathways, advocacy supports, and signposting relationships within the university and with external agencies
- Work closely with Placement Officers to support the placement preparation of students registered with the Access Centre
- Provide career preparation support including CV development, interview preparation, and one-to-one coaching for workplace readiness
- Prepare Placement Planning Reports outlining reasonable accommodations students may require during the placement process and while on placement
- Provide ongoing support to students registered with the Access Centre throughout their placement experience
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective student support services
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience providing one-to-one guidance, mentoring, or student support
- Experience developing collaborative initiatives with internal and external partners
- Experience using MS Power BI for reporting and SharePoint for collaboration or site development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a caseload and multiple priorities
