ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – GLOBAL MOBILITY (TEMPORARY)
Our client, a highly respected educational institution with a strong international focus, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Global Mobility team on a full-time temporary basis for one month. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Global Partnerships Coordinator will provide essential operational and administrative support to the Global Partnerships Team. This team serves as a central hub to facilitate colleagues' engagement with international opportunities, lead the development of partnerships with overseas institutions, governments, sponsors and scholarship bodies, as well as supporting international students through partner pathway programs.
Working closely with colleagues across colleges and central University functions, the post holder will play a key role in coordinating the logistics of international partnerships and providing administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Global Partnerships Team. They will also help to shape and refine administrative processes, identifying opportunities to streamline activities and enhance the efficiency of partnership operations.
A key focus of the role will be managing the logistics of all incoming and outgoing visits, events, and travel on behalf of the Global Partnerships Team. With direction from the Head of Global Partnerships, this will includes compiling all relevant information to create itineraries, the proactive organisation of visit and travel logistics, the preparation of briefing materials, and ensuring that colleagues are well-equipped with the necessary information and materials to represent the University effectively and engage in fruitful Partnership discussions. As part of this work, the post holder will provide timely progress updates and conduct guided research into potential partners / markets for inclusion in briefing packs, as well as overall administrative, and financial support to the team.

The role requires exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 passes at Leaving Certificate level (or equivalent)
- Recognised post-Leaving Certificate qualification in administration or office technology
- At least two years’ experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence and reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and customer service focus
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and international partner institutions
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Knowledge of student mobility programmes (incoming, outgoing, study, and hybrid mobility)
- Understanding of academic administration policies, processes, and/or programme development
- Experience using web content management systems and/or online communication platforms
- A genuine interest in internationalisation within education
