Fantastic day rate contract opportunities starting in January for experienced Agile Business Analysts with a proven track record supporting projects for digital payments and fintech.
**You must be residing locally in Dublin as the requirement is to be onsite full time 5 days per week**
Key to your role is collaborating at global scale with cross-functional teams to document requirements, to empower the tech SMEs to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, identifying current business needs and recommend solutions
- Create detailed data mapping from source to target systems
- Evaluate client requirements to determine their compatibility with existing functionalities
- Define user stories and detailed acceptance criteria for each user story.
- Determine stakeholder involvement and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of business analysis experience in payments ideally or financial services with excellent comms and attention to detail
- A proven track record at global scale in understanding complex issues and translating them into actionable steps
- Extensive experience in Agile methodologies, preferably SAFE and using JIRA for drafting features and user stories with well-articulated acceptance criteria
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance while rapidly adapting to changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including clients, developers, testers
- Familiarity with payment industry standards and hands-on experience with authorization and or clearing systems
- SQL scripting capabilities
- Experience in transaction workflow modelling and software development support
