Job Title: Aseptic Compounding Technician
Location: Inverin, Co. Galway
Temp Assignment through to the end of 2026

As an Aseptic Compounding Technician, you will be responsible for the aseptic compounding of products to required cGMP standards in a Grade C cleanroom environment. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant and reliable supply of products to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Compound batches in line with GMP, SOPs and all health and safety regulations
- Dispense raw materials as per approved procedures
- Complete documentation accurately to ensure full traceability and audit readiness
- Perform manufacturing activities associated with batch production, including CIP/SIP
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the compounding and dispensary areas
- Support the Packaging Department in Casla as required
- Contribute to a strong quality and safety culture within the team
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of Leaving Certificate
- 1–2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment, ideally in compounding or dispensing
- Experience working to GMP regulations and gowning for a Grade C (or equivalent) cleanroom
- Understanding of manufacturing processes in a pharma/med device setting
- Strong attention to detail, good documentation practices and a safety-first mindset
- Flexible, reliable and comfortable with manual handling and standing for long periods
Shift Pattern (Essential Requirement)
- Candidates must be available to rotate between evening and day shifts on a week-on/week-off basis
- Current shift pattern (under review):
- Day shift: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Evening shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm (20% shift premium)
Physical & Work Environment
- Compounding/dispensing cleanroom environment (Grade C)
- Manual handling, lifting, carrying, pushing and manoeuvring boxes/containers
- Use of PPE including respiratory protection, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and protective clothing
