My client an Irish niche engineering company working on civil projects and manufacturing, has an opening for an Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. This role will provide direct support to the Senior Project Manager in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and administration
- Support in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and records
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Assist in site meetings and preparation of reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction project support or coordination is an advantage
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – project software experience is a plus
- Degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
