About the Role:
You’ll work as part of a professional team providing accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services to a diverse client base. Your role will be varied and hands-on, giving you the chance to develop your skills and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts and financial statements for sole traders and audit-exempt clients
- Maintain books and records using accounting software
- Assist with income tax and corporation tax returns
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Process payroll and liaise with clients
- Support management in delivering excellent client service
What You’ll Need:
- Qualified Bookkeeper or relevant degree
- Minimum 2 years’ accounting practice experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting/payroll software (Xero, Sage, BrightPay, Thesaurus, Surf)
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player with a keen interest in career growth
