Business Development Executive
I am recruiting on behalf of a highly respected business in the premium drinks sector for an exciting field-based Business Development Executive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a passion for wine, food, and hospitality who knows how to build strong relationships, develop new business, and close deals.
Covering the vibrant Connacht region, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own agenda, follow up on leads, and grow a strong presence across hotels, restaurants, and other on-trade venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across the Connacht territory.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, delivering excellent customer service.
- Build a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, social media, and proactive outreach.
- Represent premium, specialist products with knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Manage your own field schedule and call plan, while adapting to client needs.
- Work closely with senior management to hit and exceed sales targets.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within hospitality, on-trade, or FMCG.
- Genuine passion for wine, food, and quality products.
- A natural deal-closer with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to thrive with autonomy in a field-based role.
- Competent with IT systems (Microsoft Office; social media marketing an advantage).
- Full, clean driving licence.
