Flexsource is delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent, full-time basis, covering Munster.

This role is newly created due to our client’s continued growth and expansion within their Power Tools division, with a strong focus on developing their customer base across Munster.

A well-established sales and distribution business with over 50 years in operation, recognised as a true market leader that has successfully introduced a wide range of leading products to the Irish market.

The Role

With a full copy of the job specification available on request, the Business Development Manager will:

Play a vital role in growing sales across Munster within the Power Tools category.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
Achieve and exceed agreed KPIs and sales targets.
Demonstrate a strong eye and flair for merchandising, ensuring products are displayed correctly to maximise sales.
Attend trade shows, customer open days, product launches, and customer training sessions.
Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity and report insights to management.

The Person

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Business Development or sales role, consistently achieving targets and KPIs.
Experience in power tools, hardware, construction products, or a similar sector is highly desirable.
Previous exposure to brands such as BOSCH, Stanley, Bellota, or similar would be a significant advantage.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of competitor markets.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to present commercial business cases.
Willingness to continuously develop product and market knowledge.
Full, clean Irish driving licence, with the ability to travel throughout Munster as required.
