Capacity Market Controller
Location: Belfast (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 + excellent benefits

An established organisation operating within the electricity and energy sector is seeking a Capacity Market Controller to join its growing team in Belfast.
You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, coordinating critical market activities, analysing data, and supporting regulatory processes aligned with industry frameworks and deadlines.
Duties:
· Supporting day-to-day Capacity Market registration, qualification and reporting activities
· Preparing and analysing operational and market information
· Responding to internal and external stakeholder queries within agreed timelines
· Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
· Supporting onboarding and training activities within the team
· Providing updates and reporting to senior stakeholders
· Coordinating meetings with external users and tracking follow-up actions
· Organising customer communications and ensuring clear information flow
· Working collaboratively with cross-functional and external teams to maintain consistent processes
· Delivering accurate, high-quality work within strict deadlines
About You
Essential Requirements
· Degree in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline
· Typically 1–2 years’ relevant professional experience
· Experience coordinating tasks or projects within a team environment
· Strong organisational and time-management skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
· Strong analytical and numeracy skills
· High attention to detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
· Ability to manage competing deadlines in a structured environment
· Collaborative team player
Desirable
· Experience within the energy, utilities, or power systems sector
· Engineering or technical background
· Experience delivering presentations or facilitating group discussions
