Our established Homecare Client is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Assessor. Our client’s healthcare team is focused on assisting their clients to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own homes.
Based out of Tipperary, this role plays a critical part in assessing Clients suitability for receiving healthcare services in their homes. Working closely with medical professionals and other healthcare providers, the Homecare Assessor evaluates Clients medical conditions, assesses their needs, and determines the appropriate level of care and support required for home-based treatment. The assessor conducts comprehensive assessments, develops care plans, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary Team to ensure the provision of high-quality care in a homecare setting.
This is a permanent fulltime position.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Active NMBI registration essential, where relevant.
- Certification in home healthcare or clinical assessment is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting, with a focus on Client assessment and care planning.
- Strong understanding of medical conditions, treatment modalities, and care protocols relevant to homecare.
- Familiarity with home healthcare regulations and HSE systems is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess Clients' needs, identify potential risks, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Full Clean Driving Licence and access to a car.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
