Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Director with an established youth mental health support organisation.
This hybrid role is open to Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists and Occupational Therapists with relevant experience.
The successful candidate is required to attend Dublin HQ one day a week.
Reporting to the CEO, the Clinical Director is the mental health lead for the organisation providing strategic and clinical leadership for the organisations' growing network of innovative youth mental health community and online services and supports. The Clinical Director works in close collaboration with the Director of Services in overseeing the planning, delivery and evaluation of the organisations network and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high quality therapeutic services to service users.
It is essential that you meet one of the below qualification requirements to be considered for the role:
- Doctorate or equivalent in clinical/counselling/educational psychology. Qualifications obtained overseas must be validated by the Department of Health at the time of application.
- Mental Health Nurse registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Social Worker registered with CORU.
- Occupational Therapist registered with CORU.
- Psychotherapist accredited by the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), The National Association for Professional Counselling & Psychotherapy (NAPCP) or the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP).
Other essential criteria include:
- A minimum of eight years post qualification full time or equivalent experience working clinically/therapeutically in a mental health service/setting.
- A minimum of five years senior leadership experience in the area of mental health including significant experience of providing clinical supervision and line management of allied/mental health professionals.
- Very strong mental health knowledge and skills; assessment (including risk assessment), formulation, evidence informed therapeutic intervention and evaluation.
- Proven capacity to lead, manage and develop a team of people from a range of backgrounds in high performing, dynamic environments.
- Excellent organisational development, problem-solving, communication skills
- Ability to organise a complex and varied workload and to work to tight deadlines in an adaptable and creative manner within a dynamic and changing environment
- Passionate about young people, their mental health and achieving change in Irish society.
- Strong understanding and experience of the statutory and voluntary mental health service systems and relevant polices in this area.
- Experience of leading large scale organisational change processes desirable
