Salary: €45,000 (or equivalent in HUF) + Cafeteria 9% (capped)

About the Role
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting the company’s cloud infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems, supporting efficient operations and the organization’s strategic goals.
You will work closely with the IT team to implement and maintain cloud IT infrastructure, develop solutions for existing systems, and provide guidance on efficiency, security, and sustainability. The role has a strong focus on information security and requires adaptability, flexibility, and collaboration across global teams.
Some travel to client and company sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure resources with automation, monitoring, and security in mind.
- Maintain reliable day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
- Migrate legacy on-prem IT components to the cloud.
- Deploy and manage cloud and on-prem applications (e.g., M365, VOIP telephony).
- Provide security hardening guidance and assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Contribute solutions and support for business-wide projects.
- Make infrastructure recommendations to the team and support scalable infrastructure delivery.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate:
- Has extensive experience across networks, security, VOIP telephony, and IT infrastructure.
- Has worked in network administrator or infrastructure engineer roles, ideally in a contact centre environment.
- Can adapt quickly to change and collaborate with technical teams.
- Previous experience in technical leadership or mentoring is an advantage.
Essential Competencies:
- Cloud infrastructure design and deployment (Azure, PaloAlto, Juniper, Aruba).
- Configuration and management of M365, SharePoint, Intune, Sentinel, and Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of network and security technologies (firewalls, 2FA, MFA, HTTPS, TLS, DNS, VPN).
- Experience building/managing Azure Virtual Machines (Linux/Windows).
- Knowledge of systems monitoring capacity planning, performance tuning, and architecture principles.
- Experience with alerting, monitoring tools, scripting, and automation.
- Understanding of contact centre telephony systems (Cloud PBX, softphones).
- Strong time management skills and a desire to grow into team management or IT managerial roles.
Education and Experience
- 3+ years in network/infrastructure engineer, desktop, or IT support roles.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field is preferred.
- Relevant security or infrastructure certifications are a plus.
- Experience with ITIL framework, project management, and team management is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
