We’re looking for a Data/BI Analyst to support a major digital transformation programme within a national regulatory organisation. This role sits within the technology and business services function and focuses on improving data quality, integrating complex datasets and delivering analytics that support regulatory insight, operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
The role
- Analyse, transform and interpret data from multiple enterprise systems to generate actionable insights
- Build dashboards and visualisations using Power BI and related tools
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
- Support improvements in data quality, governance and data management practices
- Develop queries, reports and analytics to support operational and strategic decisions
- Contribute to data migration, integration and interoperability initiatives
- Support the evaluation and pilot of advanced analytics and predictive technologies
- Provide technical data support and collaborate with teams across the organisation
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with enterprise databases
- Hands-on experience with Power BI
- Experience working with wider Power Platform
- Experience extracting, integrating and analysing large datasets
- Understanding of data governance, data quality and data management practices
- Experience supporting data migration or integration projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Exposure to Python, R or advanced analytics tools is advantageous
