A great opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer/Data Warehouse Developer to join a client within the FS domain. We're looking for an experienced Engineer with strong experiences across DWH, ETL and BI across the Microsoft suite. This role is currently fully on-prem with a plan to undergo a cloud transformation in 12-18 months time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and integration processes.
- Manage end-to-end change requests across EDW, including analysis, development, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business users to align reporting needs with technical solutions.
- Design and develop dimensional models and data flows.
- Build, test, and document ETL processes using SQL, SSIS, and related tools.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Support governance frameworks and contribute to data lifecycle planning.
- Actively contribute to the company’s evolving data strategy and technical roadmap.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in data engineering or BI roles
- FS domain experience would be beneficial
- Strong SQL, SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, DAX, and Power BI proficiency
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and dimensional modeling
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-level data change and release management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project collaboration skills
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Analytics, etc
