Day Service Manager – Avista (Limerick, TEES)
Cpl, in partnership with our client Avista, is seeking an experienced and passionate Day Service Manager to join their team in Limerick. This is a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within a values-driven organisation supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
About the Role
As Day Service Manager, you will:
- Lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-led day services that support independence, inclusion, and individual choice.
- Collaborate with the TEES Service Manager to implement strategic objectives and develop new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with New Directions standards, Avista policies, and national safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
- Support individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes through person-centred planning and community engagement.
- Oversee service operations including clinical coordination, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and contribute to service development.
- Supervise and support staff teams, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Foster partnerships with families, multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and community stakeholders.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and advocacy for service users.
- Monitor and improve service quality, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a strong leader with:
- A relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
- Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of New Directions, person-centred supports, and HSE standards.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for innovation, inclusion, and empowering others to live their best lives.
