Job Description:
Flexsource are currently recruiting for an exciting new role with our client, a global leader in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin.
Our client is seeking a Driver Helper to join their Delivery depot. This is a full-time position starting immediately and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting drivers with deliveries, including safe loading and unloading of vehicles
- Supporting navigation and route planning during deliveries
- Liaising with customers in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
- Reporting problems and recording delivery logs accurately
- Supporting warehouse operations as required
- Working effectively as part of a team and also on own initiative
- Carrying out ad hoc duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in distribution, warehousing, or transport is an advantage
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
- Flexibility to work early starts (when required on delivery routes)
- Manual handling certification is an advantage (training can be provided)
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- Standard warehouse shifts: 07:00 – 15:00
- Early starts (between 03:00 – 06:00) required when supporting delivery routes
Pay & Benefits:
- €14.70 per hour
- Overtime available at €22.05 (time and a half)
- Premium rate of €17.64 (20%)
- Plus €0.50 meal allowance when out on the truck
