Engineering Manager - .Net/AWS
Location: Dublin City Centre (4 days onsite)
Salary: €110–120k (Negotiable) base + Bonus + LTI + Excellent Pension + Health
About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager with experience in the financial services domain, particularly general ledger systems. This is a leadership-focused position where you will oversee a team of engineers, provide technical direction, and ensure delivery excellence. While not a hands-on coding role, you will bring the technical credibility to guide your team through complex solutions when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering best practices in delivery and design.
- Drive the engineering roadmap for financial systems, particularly within general ledger.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and Technology to ensure alignment.
- Provide architectural guidance, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Manage delivery timelines, team performance, and quality standards.
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience as an Engineering Manager or similar.
- Strong understanding of financial systems / general ledger platforms desired but not essential
- Technical background in .NET with exposure to AWS cloud.
- Ability to lead teams without being hands-on daily, but comfortable stepping in with solutions when needed.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
