Finance Analyst - Dundonald - £40,000 - £42,000 (Contract)
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our public sector client for an initial 3-month contract.
In this role, you’ll research and analyse historical financial data, forecast future trends, and provide clear, actionable reports to support decision-making across the business. You’ll also play a key part in developing new processes and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
· Research, analyse and interpret financial and commercial data.
· Prepare forecasts, cash flows, and detailed financial reports.
· Provide recommendations based on analysis to support strategic decisions.
· Create and implement new processes and procedures.
· Support financial projects and assist with departmental tasks.
What we’re looking for:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in providing budgetary support.
· Proven experience in forecasting, report writing, and cash flow management.
· High level of Excel skills.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
