Head of Costing

About the Role
The Head of Costing will lead the Network Costing team, ensuring timely, accurate delivery of costing data, analysis, and regulatory reporting. The role focuses on maintaining high audit standards, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with ComReg requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Network Costing team to deliver high-quality costing data and analysis.
- Oversee process, system, and reporting improvements.
- Maintain costing methodologies, documentation, and ComReg mapping tables.
- Manage collection and validation of network statistics for cost allocations.
- Perform reconciliations, reviews, and analytical studies as required.
- Support development and analysis of transfer charges and audit responses.
- Ensure stakeholder engagement, QA reviews, and sign-offs.
- Foster a high-performing, compliant, and collaborative team culture.
Success Measures
- Accuracy and timeliness of costing data and audit inputs.
- Compliance with ComReg and internal reporting standards.
- Delivery of insights supporting management decision-making.
Experience & Skills
- Proven background in Cost Accounting & Analysis.
- Strong analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Project and transformation leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and Access proficiency.
- Experience working with regulators and auditors (e.g., ComReg).
