We’re hiring a senior data leader to shape and deliver enterprise data capabilities within a large, complex organisation. This role will drive the data strategy, establish strong governance and ensure data is treated as a strategic asset across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, technology teams and business stakeholders to improve how data is managed, governed and leveraged for decision-making.
The Role
- Define and drive the organisation’s enterprise data strategy
- Lead initiatives across data governance, master data management and data lifecycle management
- Oversee the acquisition, cleansing, maintenance and distribution of data across enterprise systems
- Establish data policies, standards and operating models to ensure quality, consistency and regulatory compliance
- Manage relationships with data vendors, providers and external data sources
- Drive improvements in data quality, monitoring and reporting of key data metrics
- Partner with business and technology teams to design scalable data architecture and integration solutions
- Lead the development of business performance dashboards and data-driven management insights
- Act as the central point of contact for data issues, analysis and new data requirements across systems
Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in data engineering, data architecture or enterprise data management roles
- Strong background designing and managing large-scale ETL / ELT data platforms
- Experience working with distributed data ecosystems and big data environments
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and enterprise data architecture
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise database technologies
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and master data management solutions
- Comfortable working in agile environments and leading cross-functional initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
