Job Title: Industrial Farm Operatives

About the Role
This position is based at the research farm in Crossnacreevy. The role involves hands-on work with crop trials, including wheat, barley, oats, and grasses. You’ll play a key role in supporting field experiments and maintaining high standards in farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ploughing fields
- Spraying crops
- Sowing seeds
- Harvesting using combine machinery
- Operating Haldrups and other specialist equipment
- Using fertiliser spreaders
- Lawn maintenance with Kubota machinery
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 2 GCSEs (grades A*-C), including English Language and Maths, or equivalent qualifications
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in tasks such as ploughing, spraying, sowing, and combining
- A valid UK driving licence
- Desirable Skills & Experience
- PA1 and PA2a spraying qualifications
