You will play a crucial role, providing independent oversight and support for our information security and cyber risk activities, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and operations. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and impartial reviews and assessments of 1st line information security and cyber risk management activities, as well as data and model risk governance, and operational resilience and business continuity efforts.
- Create, update, and execute effective Risk Policies that comply with regulatory requirements and meet expectations.
- Act as an esteemed advisor, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to tackle security, data, and model risks, along with operational resilience and business continuity challenges.
- Ensure prompt and accurate reporting of our firm's risk profile and control environment, including comprehensive Board reporting.
- Take charge of establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and regulators, emphasizing our clients commitment to excellence and trust.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate an advanced proficiency in risk management and best practice standards related to IT and cyber security, data risk, model governance, or operational resilience and business continuity.
- Show a strong determination to protect our infrastructure and establish oneself as a recognized expert in cyber risk.
- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively articulating rationale, recommendations, and decisions.
- Possess a relevant 3rd level Degree or Masters qualification.
- Desirable to hold a professional security management certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar credentials. Previous 2nd line of defense experience is highly valued
