Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator – Drive Digital Transformation
Technical Objectives
• Support and optimise Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy), Azure-Hybrid setups, and Office 365.
• Manage virtual infrastructure including VMs, hosts, storage, and networking across VMware vSphere and Azure.
• Support physical and logical networking technologies.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Azure services, including VNets, VMs, storage, and identity solutions.
• Perform upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance to ensure secure, high-performing systems.
• Implement and maintain reliable backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Operational Objectives
• Take ownership of support tickets, system monitoring, and infrastructure improvements.
• Contribute to capacity planning and proactive risk management.
• Ensure all systems comply with strong security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to deliver upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Drive impactful ICT initiatives and projects from planning to execution.
• Maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date documentation.
• Coordinate and implement system changes to enhance performance and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience – Essential
• Degree or recognized qualification in an IT-related field (NFQ Level 7/8) or equivalent certifications (e.g., AZ-800, AZ-104).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a system administration role supporting infrastructure and applications.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, TCP/IP, protocols, and PowerShell.
• Solid experience with Azure and Office 365 environments.
• Hands-on experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, hybrid environments, and O365.
This is a hybrid role offering 3 days from home and 2 days on site (Dublin city), 35 hour working week and 22 days holidays. Pension and Package . Salary range is €51,718-€61,866.
