We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Internal Technical Sales professional to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical sales environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values strong customer and supplier relationships.
You will support the external sales function, manage customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and ensure a smooth process from initial enquiry to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to internal sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare accurate quotations and tender submissions
- Liaise with suppliers to gather pricing, availability, and technical information
- Process customer orders efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage and order stock when required
- Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Participate in product training to maintain strong technical knowledge
- Work towards and achieve monthly KPIs
Requirements
- Experience with valves and actuation products is essential
- Strong administrative and organisational capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
