About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Enterprise Application Architect to join a growing, forward-thinking organization. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will play a key role in shaping and governing the company’s application architecture strategy, ensuring technology solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and uphold architecture principles, policies, and governance standards across the enterprise application landscape.
· Provide architectural oversight for major projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and consistency across systems.
· Evaluate, select, and integrate both new and existing enterprise applications and systems.
· Collaborate with business and application owners to ensure solutions meet current and future business needs.
· Develop and maintain enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks and documentation.
· Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Conduct impact assessments for new business requirements and technology initiatives.
· Lead Architectural Review Board discussions and maintain architectural artifacts and models.
About You
You are a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in enterprise application architecture and a deep understanding of how technology enables business transformation. You thrive in environments where you can influence strategy, engage senior stakeholders, and drive enterprise-wide change.
Requirements
· 10+ years’ experience in application development, implementation, or architecture roles.
· Proven experience planning and delivering large-scale, successful IT projects.
· Expertise in enterprise business applications — including integration, security, and cloud-based infrastructures.
· Strong understanding of Financial Services technology.
· Demonstrated success engaging with senior stakeholders up to and including Board level.
· Hands-on experience aligning CRM platforms (ideally Salesforce) with business objectives.
