I'm currently working with a client in the automation and engineering sector who is looking to hire a Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join their expanding Infrastructure & Security team.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering hybrid work, strong mentoring, and the chance to build both cyber and IT infrastructure skills from the ground up. Ideal for someone with 0–2 years of experience looking to step into the cyber world.
Responsibilities
- Assist in configuring, maintaining, and securing internal IT infrastructure
- Support firewall, VPN, and endpoint protection systems
- Monitor network/system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Help conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support and assist in new employee onboarding
Requirements
- A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Understanding of Microsoft-based environments
- Keen interest in both cybersecurity and IT operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Full driver’s license (occasional travel may be needed)
