CPL Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Logistics Administrator for their busy operations team based in Togher Industrial Estate, Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator who is customer-focused, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth coordination of inbound and outbound logistics, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
This is a 3–6 month temporary contract with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and administer all activities with third-party transport providers, ensuring efficient and compliant logistics operations
Act as the main point of contact for delivery-related customer enquiries
Manage the transfer of shipping data to logistics partners, ensuring accuracy and timely communication
Prepare and issue all documentation required for international shipments, including exports to the UK, Middle East, North America, and other regions
Generate commercial invoices, customs documentation, and all supporting paperwork for import/export activities
Create and manage purchase orders, including supplier confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules
Liaise with Finance on payments, invoice approvals, month-end processes, discrepancies, and credit notes
Track and manage returnable containers, coordinating returns and internal requirements
Oversee stock movements between external storage facilities and the main site, ensuring accurate inventory visibility
Coordinate delivery schedules from external warehouses to meet customer demand and internal planning needs
Support the wider team with additional administrative and operational tasks as required
Skills & Experience
Strong admin experience is essential
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full eligibility to work in Ireland
