Summary
We are seeking a maintenance manager for our global production client in Cork city. You will be responsible for the effective running for our internal equipment and machinery to ensure company goals are met. Experience with process improvements and improvement of maintenance teams would be beneficial.
Requirements
· Experience in a production environment would be beneficial
· Good working knowledge of ERP systems.
· Management of external vendors.
· Oversee multiple internal systems ensuring any upgrades or process improvements are implemented.
· Goof coordination experience delegating plant activities for maintenance personnel.
· Strong budget management and forecasting ability.
· Leadership across teams internally.
· Experience monitoring candidate performance and liaising with HR in relation to disciplinary issues
· Experience in a production environment would be beneficial
· Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial control.
· Training of new staff in the maintenance area bringing them fully up to speed with new equipment.
· Strong leadership with the ability to influence and deal with change.
· Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Education
· Apprenticeship or degree in relevant discipline.
