Marketing Manager
Location: Arklow, Co. Wicklow | Perm
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager from the hospitality sector to lead the sales, marketing, revenue, and events strategy for a well-established hotel in Wicklow. You will manage a small team (Wedding & Events, Revenue, and Reservations) and play a key role in driving business growth, brand positioning, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the annual sales & marketing strategy and budget.
- Lead and motivate the sales, marketing, and revenue teams to achieve growth targets.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, client visits, and FAM trips.
- Identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
- Manage relationships with external partners including PR, travel networks, and digital marketing.
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Report on sales, marketing, and revenue performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior sales & marketing role within the hotel/hospitality sector (essential).
- Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality practices and revenue management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational abilities.
- Flexible to travel for business development and client engagement.
- Must have a valid driving licence.
- Experience with Hotsoft is an advantage.
