Occupational Therapist – acquired brain injury service, North Dublin
We will consider applications for both basic grade and senior grade positions.
Occupational Therapist required for permanent position with dedicated Acquired Brain Injury service based in North County Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support clients living with the impact of acquired brain injury through functional and therapeutic assessments, working closely with each individual to understand their goals, strengths, and needs
Working as a part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:
•Collaborate in devising and providing person centred, goal orientated care and rehabilitation with the objective of optimising quality of life.
•Support people to build everyday living skills that promote confidence, independence, by improving their mobility, function, independence and quality of life in a stimulating, comfortable environment.
•Collaborate with healthcare teams and external partners to ensure continuity of care and shared decision-making
•Represent the department/profession / team at meetings and conferences as designated.
Qualifications and experience:
•A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration.
•Ideally 1-2 years of post-qualification experience working with adults with neurological conditions or similar caseload
•A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience is required in order to be considered for a senior role.
•Permission to work in Ireland
