Role: Operations Manager
Location: West Cork
My Client is looking for an Operations Manager to head up their Depot. Looking for someone to lead operations, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction along with fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Business Unit, working closely with managers to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
- Deliver production targets on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems and support successful product launches.
- Drive sales growth, improve efficiency, and achieve profitability targets for the region.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Build and sustain strong communication channels with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure regional success.
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve the agreed sales strategy, balancing revenue growth with margin improvement.
- Expand existing accounts and develop new markets to strengthen the Company’s market leadership and deliver sustainable growth.
- Ensure customers operate within agreed credit terms and that receivables are collected promptly.
- Promote and uphold high standards in health, safety, and employee welfare, ensuring full compliance with legal and Company policies.
- Plan and manage operations efficiently to meet Group quality and service commitments while controlling costs in line with profit objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships.
- Solid experience in personnel management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
