I am working with a company to hire a Part Qualified Accountant for their Dublin 18 office. This is a permanent position, and the role is office based. Candidates must have 3 + years’ experience in a similar role in ROI and an EU Passport or a valid Stamp 4 Visa. The salary on offer is ranging from 40-45k.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-qualified accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be actively pursuing their professional qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Undertake various unplanned tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in ROI.
- Stamp 4 or EU Passport essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
